The Farm       

Located at 5579 West County Road 300 North in Connersville, Indiana, Eklund’s Crazy Acres is a single-family owned business, operating on 20+ acres, with room for expansion.

This seasonal business offers a 6-acre artistically designed corn maze, including weekend night haunting, a pumpkin patch, wagon rides, barn lot activities, concessions and more to offer a full day of entertainment for the whole family, at a reasonable cost. 

What do we have?

            Eklund’s Crazy Acres offers a wide variety of activities, and products to accommodate visitors of almost any age.

Each year, Lynette Eklund designs the 6-acre corn maze to honor one of the projects she worked on during her career in Hollywood. It has built-in optional assistance and challenges to meet any level player. For the families with young kids, there are posted maps to help navigate the maze, so the little ones don’t get too tired to enjoy the adventure. For the mid-range challenger, there are goals installed. And for the strong- hearted, Friday and Saturday nights the maze reopens after dark for a haunted hunt with live ghouls.

Our customers swear that out tractor-pulled wagon ride around the fields and through the woods is one of the most scenic wagon rides in the area. This activity is available every Friday night and all weekend long.

The barn lot holds more fun for the people who aren’t ready to leave after the maze, or for the ones who don’t dare the big adventure. There is a yard of foot games that a person can play at their own speed. Each one taking about 5-10 minutes to complete.

Free photo opportunities are set about, with a monster display, face cut-out boards, and hay bales.

For the people who enjoy laughing at their friends, as well as themselves, the Hay Pyramid, Corn Box, Indian wrestling, and other small activities will keep them busy.

Although Eklund’s Crazy Acres does not have a full licensed kitchen at this time, an abundance of beverages and snacks are available with plenty of tables to sit and enjoy the countryside view.

We are proud of our newly built outdoor pavilion; a perfect place to host birthday parties, group outings and other special events, such as our classes and guest appearances.

When the adventure finally comes to an end, visitors can purchase our pumpkins, fresh-picked every weekend, to take home. Finally, souvenirs, novelties, gourds, and various other items for holiday and home decorating are available in the store.

We offer 10% off of any one pumpkin, concession or gift shop item to anyone who shows proof that they completed the game in the corn maze.

So what makes us different?

Jim Eklund, co-owner of Eklund’s Crazy Acres, is a machinist, welder and carpenter, giving him a terrific ability to develop and construct additional features for the business, allowing each year to grow better than the previous.

 Lynette Eklund spent many years in Hollywood building puppets and creatures for commercials and films. With credits of Beetlejuice, Species, The Relic, Lost World, and Instinct, to name a few, she is enthusiastic about developing and expanding an entertainment venue and wants to add new visuals every year. This is something that no other haunted corn maze can boast!
