Let's keep
this simple...
After you make the rods
(see above), hold them in your hands about 6 - 8 inches apart, pointing
straight ahead and angled slightly down just enough to keep them
pointing forward and parallel.
Now find a
place with nothing in front of you and walk forward a number of steps.
If nothing happens, which it probably won't, get a container of water
(bottle, bowl, anything) and place it on the floor where you know the
rods did not react. Now, standing away from the container of
water, hold the rods as before and slowly walk towards the water until
the rods pass directly over it. The rods should cross. Simply put,
that's all there is to it.
If by
chance it doesn't work for you...
Your body puts
a positive static charge in one rod and a negative charge in the other.
Some people have a weaker charge and some have a stronger charge.
If it doesn't work for you, let someone else try it. Odds are it
will work for them. It worked for my wife, my son and me the first
time we tried.
Finding
electrical wiring...
I located the
underground wires from the my house's circuit breaker to the pool pump.
One problem with finding electrical wiring is that current has to be
running through it at the time. When I turned the pool pump off, I
couldn't locate the wiring anymore. I turned it back on and found
it again.
